Asante Kenya is a Czech public-benefit foundation (nadační fond) that supports disadvantaged people, mainly in the Maasai community in Kenya near the Kenya-Tanzania border. Working through its partner RedTribe, a Maasai non-profit, it runs and supports projects in education, healthcare, food security, sustainable livelihoods and menstrual health, including a school, a clinic, an agricultural project and a beekeeping project. Projects are developed in dialogue with the community and aim for long-term independence from external support. The foundation also raised funds for earthquake relief in Turkey in 2023 and provides volunteer and in-kind support from the Czech Republic, including school supply collections and educational exchanges between Czech and Kenyan schools.
