A Békés Megyei Néptáncosok Szövetsége is a Békés county public benefit association founded in 1989 that brings together folk dance groups, dancers and folk music groups in Békés county and the wider Southern Great Plain region. It works to preserve and develop folk dance and traditional folk art, supports amateur folk dance groups and traditional bearer groups, and organises festivals, dance house tours, camps, training for dancers and teachers, and school programmes. It also runs a community service placement host programme for secondary school students. Membership is open to individuals and to amateur and professional folk dance and folk music groups in the county.
