Bless a Child Foundation

Founded in 2010, Bless a Child Foundation is a charity based in Kampala, Uganda working on health, children & youth.

Bless a Child Foundation is a non-profit organisation based in Uganda that supports children with cancer and their caregivers throughout treatment. It provides free accommodation in care homes, nutritious meals, transport to and from hospital, psychosocial and emotional support, and educational support, so that children can access and complete treatment with dignity. The organisation was founded in 2010 when it opened its first home in Kampala, and it now operates homes in Kampala and Mbarara, serving families referred by paediatric oncology centres and through peer referral. It also runs awareness, education and advocacy work and invites volunteers and fundraisers to support its care.
