Breadwinners

Founded in 2016, Breadwinners is a charity based in United Kingdom working on refugees & migration, employment & skills.

Breadwinners is a grassroots charity in London and Brighton that supports refugees and young people seeking asylum into work, training and mentoring. It runs three employability programmes that provide paid jobs, work experience and training at market stalls and through an online bread delivery and wholesale service. The organisation sells organic artisan bread made with bakery partners, and reinvests donations into market equipment so that more refugees can be employed. Sales from market stalls help cover the UK Living Wage for refugees working with the charity.
