BUNDjugend NRW is the youth association of the Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland (BUND) in North Rhine-Westfalen. It is a registered non-profit association based in Soest that works for environmental protection, climate justice and social justice. It runs local youth groups in cities across the state, campaigns and demonstrations, workshops, camps and holiday trips for children and young people, and volunteer and training opportunities such as the FÖJ and BFD. Its projects cover biodiversity, nature conservation, anti-discrimination work and the prevention of sexualised violence in youth work. It funds youth-led projects through the Young Impact Fund and accepts donations, which are tax-deductible, and membership. The organisation is part of the independent youth structure of the BUND and works with partners including the Naturfreundejugend and NAJU.
