It provides education to bright students from economically disadvantaged rural Cambodian families, through scholarships covering tuition, living allowances, health care and mentoring. It funds the Cambodia Rural Students Trust, a Cambodian NGO, which runs the education programme on the ground, where senior students manage the organisation and seven social enterprise projects. Students also take part in community service, including building homes and supplying food and hygiene items to rural families. The foundation states that all operational costs are covered by a private benefactor, so donations go to students and community projects.
