Founded in 2017, Centar za razvoj lokalnih medija is a non-governmental organisation based in Požarevac, Serbia working on democracy & civil society, education, arts & culture.

Centar za razvoj lokalnih medija is a non-party, non-governmental and non-profit organisation based in Požarevac, Serbia. It works to improve the professional and technical standards of local media in the interior of Serbia and to support media freedom, professionalism and the independence of public media. Its work includes media literacy education for schoolchildren through the Detektor laži project, professional development and the rights of journalists, and public debates on transparency in local budgets and media funding. It also runs cultural activities, including book promotions aimed at young readers. The organisation cooperates with NGOs and state bodies to influence the harmonisation and improvement of media laws. It was launched in January 2017 after re-registration of earlier organisations active since 2001, and was initiated by Milorad Tadić, founder of Radio Boom93.
