Česká škola bez hranic Paříž is a non-profit Czech school in Paris, run by the association Entract en France under the French 1901 law. It was founded in 2003 to teach Czech language, literature and history to multilingual children growing up in France. The school offers Saturday classes for pupils from pre-school age to grade 9, supplementary Czech language courses for children aged 5 to 15, and online lessons and courses for pupils in other locations. Its curriculum follows Czech education plans, and since 2013 it has held an agreement with the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports that allows it to assess pupils and issue certificates valid in the Czech Republic. The school also runs a library, a theatre group, a yearly St Nicholas celebration, a translation competition named after Josef Palivec, and exchanges with the Slovak school Margarétka in Paris. It is a member of the association Česká škola bez hranic, z.s., based in Prague, which coordinates Czech schools abroad.
