CF-T.E.A.M. Tirol & Vorarlberg is a self-help association supporting people with cystic fibrosis (Mukoviszidose) and their families in the Austrian states of Tyrol and Vorarlberg. Founded in October 1985 by families, it works closely with the CF Centre at the Innsbruck children's hospital, combining peer support, medical cooperation and research. Its activities include support for newly diagnosed families through starter backpacks, funding of medical equipment and staff posts for the CF outpatient clinic, a research association founded in 2002, and public awareness work about cystic fibrosis. It is run largely by volunteer parents and funded by membership fees, donations, sponsors and charity events.
