Change for Good is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee, originally established in 2012 as Wandsworth Community Chaplaincy Trust. It is a volunteer mentoring and prison resettlement charity that supports men leaving prison to settle in London. Support begins inside prisons in HMP Wandsworth, HMP Brixton, HMP Highdown, HMP Ford and HMP Wormwood Scrubs, and continues after release through caseworker support, volunteer mentoring, and a peer-led support group called Next Chapter. Support includes advocacy with probation and resettlement teams, help with accommodation, benefits, substance misuse and mental health referrals, and group job trials. The charity is faith-based but works with people of all faiths and none, and is a member of the Community Chaplaincy Association. Its stated aim is to empower those leaving prison to transform their lives through mentoring, advocacy and peer support.
