Change-Lanes Foundation (Váltó-sáv Alapítvány) is a Hungarian non-governmental organisation registered in 2002 that supports the social and labour market reintegration of people involved in criminal justice, including people in detention, people after release, people at risk of criminal behaviour and their relatives. Its work is based on continuous aftercare and throughcare: it contacts clients inside punishment institutions and continues support before, during and after discharge, while also operating a civil support system. Its services include employment programmes, a halfway housing programme, an information centre for detainees and their families, drug prevention, women's support through the Magdolna Club, talent management workshops, training for social professionals and volunteers, and research and advocacy, including work against discrimination such as challenges to the use of criminal record certificates in employment. The foundation operates nationwide from Budapest. Its income has mainly come from tenders and grants rather than fixed state funding. It describes itself as politically independent and states that it is recognised as a public-benefit (közhasznú) organisation.
