Charita Nový Jičín is a Catholic charity in the Czech Republic, founded in 2011 by the Ostrava-Opava bishop and operating since 1 January 2012. It serves socially disadvantaged people and people in material need in Nový Jičín and nearby municipalities, including Starý Jičín, Kunín, Šenov u Nového Jičína and Bernartice nad Odrou, regardless of skin colour, nationality or religion. Its services include shelters and a night shelter, a low-threshold day centre, social rehabilitation, a clothing store, a furniture service, a lending service for compensation aids, a family club, food and material aid, and the annual Three Kings collection. The charity relies on volunteers and works under the methodological guidance of the Diocesan Caritas of Ostrava-Opava.
