About

Founded in 1995, CHART Teen Task Force is a community organisation based in Hannibal, United States working on health, children & youth, education.

CHART Teen Task Force is a non-profit coalition working to reduce unintended teen births and sexually transmitted infections in northeast Missouri. Formed as an all-volunteer coalition in 1995, it is guided by a five-person Board of Directors from several counties and funded through grants and donations. It delivers free programmes to schools, youth groups, health fairs and other organisations in its seven-county service area of Marion, Ralls, Pike, Monroe, Shelby, Lewis and Clark counties. Its REALCARE BABY and Empathy Belly simulator programmes give teens hands-on experience of infant care and pregnancy, and its sexuality education programme provides information to help teens make responsible, informed decisions about their sexuality. The organisation reports a 66% decrease in the unintended teen birth rate from 1995 to 2024 and publishes its annual Teen Health Fair.
