The Comité d'Aide humanitaire au Peuple syrien (COMSYR) is a non-political, non-denominational association based in Metz, France, founded in 2012. It provides humanitarian assistance to the Syrian population, including people displaced or refugees in the Aleppo region, funds local needs such as drinking water, infant milk and heating fuel, and supports Syrian refugees settling in Metz and Moselle. It also runs cultural events and awareness activities about the situation of Syrian civilians, and its Charte d'Amitié with the City of Aleppo underpins much of its work.
