Cool Earth is a UK-registered charity that protects tropical rainforests by supporting Indigenous peoples and local communities who live in them. Working with local partners and NGOs, it runs around 40 community-led projects across three major rainforest biomes, including in Peru, Papua New Guinea and Cameroon. Its approach focuses on long-term partnerships that build financial resilience and sustainable livelihoods, with the aim of avoiding deforestation and fighting climate change. Cool Earth does not buy rainforest and does not sell carbon offsets.
