Dance Cork Firkin Crane is a non-profit registered charity and dance house based in the historic Firkin Crane building in Shandon, Cork. It supports dance artists by providing residencies, studio space and development opportunities, presents professional dance performances, and encourages people in Cork to take part in dance through classes, workshops and community programmes. The organisation runs the Inclusive Dance Cork training programme for people with and without disabilities, operates a theatre and exhibition spaces for hire, and manages artist accommodation in Jack Lynch House. It describes itself as Ireland's first dance house and a founding member of the European DanceHouse Network, and it serves Cork and the wider Irish dance community. Support is offered through Friends, donations, sponsorship and corporate partnerships.
