Diakonie Rosenheim is a Protestant social welfare association in the Rosenheim region of Upper Bavaria, organised as a registered association (e. V.) and affiliated with the Evangelical-Lutheran Dekanatsbezirk Rosenheim and the Diakonisches Werk Bayern. It provides youth welfare services, including residential groups, unaccompanied minor refugee care, family support and day care centres. Its addiction support services cover counselling, outpatient therapy, residential homes and integration projects. Other work includes homelessness and exoffender support, debt and insolvency counselling, a food bank network, a telephone counselling service, elderly and nursing care through its subsidiary Diakonische Dienste gGmbH, and kindergartens in Munich and Upper Bavaria. Activities are value-based and aimed at people in difficult life situations, with work carried out in Rosenheim, Bad Aibling, Munich, Ebersberg and surrounding districts. The organisation runs a training institute, DWRO-consult gGmbH, and an education campus at Mietraching.
