Founded in 1996, Diyarbakır Kültür ve Tabiat Varlıklarını Koruma Derneği is a non-profit association based in Diyarbakır, Turkey working on heritage, arts & culture.

DKVD is an association founded in 1996 in Diyarbakır, Turkey, by a group of city volunteers from disciplines including architecture, archaeology, art history, law, education and photography. It works to protect, document, promote and pass on the tangible and intangible cultural and natural heritage of Diyarbakır to future generations. Its activities include documenting and archiving materials on the city's history, culture and architecture in digital form, oral history projects, documentation of cultural heritage, and workshops, seminars, talks and guided trips that raise awareness of heritage and support cultural tourism. The association states that it works independently of governments, political parties and public bodies, and bases its activities on fundamental human rights and freedoms.
