Društvo prijateljev agrarne ekonomike (DPAE) is a voluntary, independent, non-profit association based in Beltinci in the Pomurje region of Slovenia. It works in the public interest in agriculture and rural development, promoting food self-sufficiency, safe food production and sustainable land use. Its activities include free advisory days for local producers, annual surveys and education in primary and secondary schools, an annual photography competition, roundtables on agricultural topics, a yearly bulletin, and a project to develop a training and co-working centre, shop and online shop for local and organic products. Membership fees and voluntary donations fund its work, supplemented by some commercial activities. It also receives designations of personal income tax under the public-benefit scheme.
