Founded in 1956, Društvo gluhih in naglušnih Pomurja is a non-profit association based in Murska Sobota, Slovenia working on disability, community development, arts & culture.

Association of deaf and hard-of-hearing people in the Pomurje region of Slovenia, based in Murska Sobota and founded in 1956. It supports members in overcoming communication barriers and everyday life challenges through psychosocial and social programmes, self-help groups, workshops, excursions, sports, theatre and cultural activities, and information on the rights of deaf and hard-of-hearing people. It also organises events such as International Day of the Deaf activities, blood donation drives and Christmas gatherings for children, and promotes sign language and awareness of deafness among the hearing public.
