The Machova dediščina pod Gorjanci association (MDG) is a voluntary, non-profit, independent cultural association based in the Gorjanci valley near Novo mesto, Slovenia. Founded in 2015, it works to revive and preserve the history of the Mach family, who influenced Veliki Slatnik in the 19th century, and the natural and cultural heritage of the area. Its main project is the Machova učna pot, a heritage tutorial trail that it maintains, marks and equips. The association also organises guided walks, the Night of Butterflies, exhibitions of local crafts and paintings, creative workshops for children, clean-up actions and seasonal walks for the public and local community groups.
