Društvo Oldtimer Stara Gora

Founded in 2004, Društvo Oldtimer Stara Gora is a non-profit association based in Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici, Slovenia working on heritage, arts & culture, community development.

Društvo Oldtimer Stara Gora is a Slovenian association founded in 2004 by vintage technology enthusiasts to preserve the movable technical, cultural and agricultural heritage of its region in the Prlekija and Pomurje area. It runs the Technical and Ethnological Museum in Bolehnečice, opened in 2017 in a former farm bought in 2014, which hosts exhibitions, demonstrations, events and guided visits for organised groups. The association also organises events such as vintage vehicle processions and an equipment fair, and supports tourism and local identity in the Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici municipality. Its members, who are organised in projects, can take part in activities and the association provides technical commission services for issuing official documents for vintage and youngtimer vehicles through the Zveza SVS and FIVA. Its work is focused on passing knowledge to younger generations and sustainable development of technical culture.
