Founded in 1989, Društvo SOS telefon is a non-profit association based in Ljubljana, Slovenia working on gender equality, children & youth, human rights.

Društvo SOS telefon za ženske in otroke žrtve nasilja is a Slovenian non-profit association based in Ljubljana that supports women and children who experience domestic, intimate partner and sexual violence. It runs a 24-hour confidential helpline, a shelter for women and children, free psychosocial counselling and psychotherapy, social advocacy and accompaniment to institutions. The association also works on public awareness and education on zero tolerance for violence, publishes books and audiobooks based on survivors' stories, trains volunteer counsellors, and takes part in projects on preventing violence and strengthening professional and organisational capacity. Donations are accepted, and individuals can allocate a share of their income tax to the association.
