Društvo upokojencev Velenje is a non-profit association based in Velenje, Slovenia working on elderly care, disability, community development.

Društvo upokojencev Velenje is a voluntary, non-partisan, humanitarian association of older, disabled, family and rural pensioners in the Municipality of Velenje, Slovenia. It holds the status of a non-governmental organisation in the public interest in social protection and of a humanitarian organisation. The association runs social and humanitarian programmes, including the Starejši za starejše programme, a day activity centre and a section for people with disabilities. It also organises sport and recreation, cultural groups, workshops, excursions, holidays and educational events, and provides help to members and other citizens facing social hardship. It has around 1,500 members organised in nine local sub-branches, and is part of the Šaleška regional federation and the national pensioners' association ZDUS.
