Društvo za dobrobit živali AniMa

Founded in 2015, Društvo za dobrobit živali AniMa is a non-profit association based in Miklavž na Dravskem polju, Slovenia working on animal welfare, nature & wildlife conservation.

Slovenian animal welfare association run largely by volunteers. It rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes abandoned, neglected, abused and injured animals, promotes sterilisation and neutering, and runs awareness and education campaigns on humane treatment of pets and wildlife. It also comments on animal welfare legislation and publishes material on wildlife issues such as bear tourism and hunting. Based in Miklavž na Dravskem polju, it works mainly in Slovenia and also supports animals in the former Yugoslav countries.
