About

EAT is a non-governmental organisation based in Oslo, Norway working on health, environment & climate.

EAT is a global non-profit based in Oslo, Norway, that works to transform food systems so that food is healthy, fair and sustainable for people and planet. It uses science, collaboration and storytelling to connect research with policy, business and civil society. Its work includes the EAT-Lancet Commission on healthy diets from sustainable food systems, city-level initiatives on urban food environments, youth engagement projects, and the Stockholm Food Forum, a science-based convening on food systems transformation. EAT works with foundations, academic institutions, companies and governments, and draws on partners and advisers across many countries. The Norwegian EAT Foundation's board has decided to wind down its operations in Oslo during 2026, after more than a decade of work, while the organisation explores new pathways for its flagship initiatives.
