Founded in 2012, Éditions du Pourquoi pas ? is a non-profit association based in Épinal, France working on arts & culture, children & youth, education.

Les Éditions du Pourquoi pas ? is an independent, non-profit children's and youth literature publishing house based in Épinal, in the Vosges region of France. Founded in November 2012 as an association, it was born from a collaboration between the École Supérieure d'Art de Lorraine (Épinal site) and the Ligue de l'Enseignement des Vosges. The association publishes works, mainly for young readers, including picture books, short novels and poetry, in collections that address social and environmental themes such as citizenship, solidarity, ecology, migration, disability and human rights. It also runs creative projects with art school students and young people, and promotes reading through awards, school selections and events. Its books are distributed by SERENDIP-LIVRES.
