Ein Lächeln für Dich e.V. is a registered association based in Preußisch Oldendorf, Germany. It was founded by Frank Pape and Nicole Pape after the death of their daughter from cancer. The association runs a hospitorium on its horse and dog farm, where seriously ill, dying and traumatised people, including victims of violence, receive a home on a temporary basis, emotional, social and spiritual support, and companionship with animals. Guests are accompanied through their final phase of life and their families are included. The association also works on a planned project to create a protected space for children of seriously ill parents and for ill children. Its work is funded by membership fees, donations and proceeds from a related coffee roastery and chocolaterie, and it sells merchandise such as calendars.
