Founded in 2013, Elisecare is a non-governmental organisation working on humanitarian aid & disaster relief, health, mental health +4 more.
Elisecare is an international solidarity NGO, recognised as being in the public interest since 2015. Founded by Dr Elise Boghossian, a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, it began work in Armenia and later Jordan, offering acupuncture to war-wounded patients in local hospitals. It now provides free emergency medical and psychological care to civilians in conflict zones through mobile clinics, fixed dispensaries and medicine distributions. It also works on access to water, education, employment and nutrition, and runs art therapy, training and reintegration support. The organisation is apolitical and secular, and serves people regardless of religious or political affiliation. It currently operates in Ethiopia, Armenia, Iraq, Lebanon, Ukraine and Syria, and offers corporate partnership options such as skills sponsorship, payroll giving and product-sharing.
