Founded in 1995 and independent of party and religion, it works for gender equality, equal opportunities and social innovation. It offers free counselling, support and leisure activities for girls and women, and workshops, projects and talks for schools, parents and professionals on prevention, personality development, career orientation, health and violence prevention. It also coordinates and supports networks in Carinthia on violence prevention, eating disorders and queer life. The association operates from Klagenfurt and Villach.
