Familienzentrum Poing e.V. is a volunteer-run, charitable association based in Poing, near Munich, Germany. It is a recognised non-profit and a registered provider of youth welfare services. Its main centre, the Zentrum in der Mitte (ZiM) at Bürgerstraße 1, offers open meeting places, courses, workshops, lectures, creative and music activities, dance and fitness classes, parent-child groups, a café and a secondhand children's clothing shop, for families, children, young people, seniors and residents of all generations. The association also runs a Kindertagesstätte (day-care centre) and projects supporting refugees and migrants, including MIFA and an intergenerational project with the Arbeiterwohlfahrt. Founded in 1988 as Kinderspiel e.V., it was renamed Familienzentrum Poing e.V. in 2005 and became ZiM in 2022. It is a member of the Bundesverband der Mütter- und Familienzentren and is supported by Membership fees, the Landkreis Ebersberg and other public funding. Membership and volunteering are offered as ways to participate.
