FICONPAZ

FICONPAZ is a non-governmental organisation based in Bogotá, Colombia working on peace & conflict, democracy & civil society, community development.

FICONPAZ is a non-profit foundation linked to the Archdiocese of Bogotá, set up to contribute to a culture of peace in Colombia. It implements the ConPaz Programme, which supports Territorial Peace, Reconciliation and Coexistence Councils (CTPRC) across 15 departments. Its work includes technical guidance and training for council members, especially civil society representatives, on forming, operating, planning and sustaining these councils, along with pedagogical materials, guides, podcasts and regional exchanges of good practice. The foundation operates from offices in Bogotá and Medellín and provides its resources through the La Despensa de la Paz website.
