About

Fondacija Dogs Trust BiH is a non-governmental organisation based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina working on animal welfare, community development.

Fondacija Dogs Trust BiH is the Bosnia and Herzegovina arm of the Dogs Trust family, the UK-based dog welfare organisation. Since 2012 it has worked in Bosnia and Herzegovina to reduce the stray and abandoned dog population. Its work includes funding and running sterilisation campaigns, dog adoption and fostering, education for dog owners, free dog training, and technical and financial support to local authorities for humane, sustainable dog population management. It also provides professional training for veterinarians and works with partner municipalities and institutions to strengthen the consistent enforcement of animal welfare law.
