Fondacija tuzlanske zajednice (Tuzla Community Foundation) is a non-profit, independent, non-governmental community foundation registered on 2 July 2003 with the Federal Ministry of Justice in Sarajevo. It operates in the Tuzla region of Bosnia and Herzegovina and describes itself as the first and still only community development foundation in the country. It pools donations from individuals, families, businesses and institutions and directs them to funds supporting local development. Its work includes grant calls for citizens' initiatives, support for the civil sector, youth empowerment, leadership and capacity building for formal and informal groups, educational programmes on democratic community development, and promotion of philanthropy and volunteering. It also commissions research on quality of life in the Tuzla region, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and runs donor-advised and endowment funds. The foundation states it operates without political affiliation and publishes annual reports and audit reports.
