Fondation 30 Millions d'Amis
Paris, France
About
Founded in 1982, Fondation 30 Millions d'Amis is a foundation based in Paris, France working on animal welfare, nature & wildlife conservation.
The Fondation 30 Millions d'Amis is a French animal protection foundation based in Paris, recognised as being of public utility. It was created in 1982 as the ADAC and became the Fondation 30 Millions d'Amis in 1995, continuing the work of the 30 Millions d'Amis television programme and magazine launched by Jean-Pierre and Reha Hutin in 1976. The foundation rescues mistreated animals, including dogs, cats, horses, farm animals and wild animals, and places them in suitable structures in France or abroad. Its legal team investigates cruelty cases, files complaints and acts as a civil party in court proceedings. It also supports animal shelters financially and campaigns against intensive farming, abandonment, illegal animal trafficking, animal experimentation, hunting practices, bullfighting and circuses with animals. Its work covers France and, increasingly, other countries. Donations are tax-deductible in France.
