Fortune Foundation is a voluntary non-government organisation based in Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh, India. It was established by community members, rehabilitation professionals, disabled people, parents of disabled children and social workers. The foundation works for blind and visually impaired children and students, providing special schooling through Fortune Netraheen Higher Secondary School, an Integrated Education programme across several blocks of Mahasamund and Baloda Bazar districts, computer literacy training, and support for para-athletics participation at state, national and international levels. It also engages in advocacy with government departments and participates in training and awareness events on disability rights, including the National Trust Act 1999.
