Fórum mobilních hospiců

Founded in 2017, Fórum mobilních hospiců is a non-profit network based in Litoměřice, Czech Republic working on health.

The Fórum mobilních hospiců is a Czech association (z. s.) that serves as the umbrella organisation for mobile hospices and mobile specialised palliative care providers across the Czech Republic. It represents its member hospices in negotiations with health insurers and state authorities on reimbursement and legislation, runs advocacy on palliative care financing, including paediatric palliative care, and supports member organisations through education, expert guidance and fundraising. Its best-known public activity is the annual Dožít doma (Living at Home) campaign, which raises awareness of home-based end-of-life care. The Fórum also manages grant and scholarship programmes for mobile hospice development, together with partner foundations and banks, and organises conferences and member meetings. It was formally established in 2017 following the pilot programme for mobile specialised palliative care that opened reimbursement from health insurance.
