Forum žena Prijepolja is a women's non-governmental organisation founded in 2000 in Prijepolje, Serbia. It works to advance gender equality and women's rights, improve women's social and economic position, and increase women's visibility in the media. Its activities include media production, public awareness campaigns, education for secondary school students, training for journalists through the Lokal Press association, and research-based reporting on local governance, budgets and gender equality. The organisation runs Televizija Forum, a local civil-society television station founded in 2008, and the Forum Info online portal. Its stated vision is to promote independent, socially active and equal women who contribute to democratic change in society. It has implemented more than 150 projects since its founding.
