frauenBeratung nürnberg, the registered Frauennotruf Nürnberg e.V., is a specialist counselling centre in Nürnberg, Germany, supporting women and girls affected by violence, including domestic, sexual and digital violence. Founded in 1983, it offers individual counselling in person, by phone, by email, chat or video, with interpreter support and childcare during sessions. It runs group programmes for women, children who have experienced domestic violence, and older women, and provides support for witnesses of harassment. Through the AwareFlair project and the LUISA IST HIER campaign, it trains staff in leisure, hospitality and cultural venues to respond to sexual harassment. The association also engages in policy and public advocacy against gender-based violence and is recognised as charitable. Counselling is free, confidential and can be anonymous.
