Frivillig Bodø

Frivillig Bodø is a non-profit association based in Bodø, Norway working on arts & culture, community development.

Frivillig Bodø is a newly established culture and volunteering centre based at Beddingen kulturhus in Bodø, Norway. It connects volunteers, associations and events, and works to involve more people in cultural life, particularly groups that have been underrepresented. It publishes volunteer assignments, runs the Elvelangs event, hosts a weekly volunteer café and a quarterly forum for local associations, and offers free meeting spaces. The organisation is a member-based association with 26 member organisations, and it continues initiatives from the Bodø2024 volunteering programme. Its work aims to make Bodø a good place to live for everyone.
