Fundación Beca is a Mexican non-profit organisation founded in 2005 by a group of entrepreneurs committed to education. It provides partial, non-repayable scholarships to young people and professionals from Latin America for undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, diploma, specialisation and bootcamp programmes in Mexico and abroad. Scholarship recipients receive academic guidance, mentoring, tutoring and psychological support, and are asked to give 120 hours of their time to a social responsibility project. The foundation works with a network of more than 100 partner universities worldwide and says more than 1,000 scholars have studied at international institutions through its support. Its base is in Querétaro, Mexico.
