Fundación Científica Acción Fauna

Founded in 2019, Fundación Científica Acción Fauna is a non-governmental organisation based in Cajón del Maipo, Chile working on nature & wildlife conservation, animal welfare, environment & climate +2 more.

Chilean scientific foundation dedicated to the conservation of native fauna and its ecosystems through animal rehabilitation, science, education and rewilding. Its flagship Refugio Animal Cascada, in the Cajón del Maipo in the Metropolitan Region, rescues and rehabilitates native animals for release and cares permanently for those that cannot be released. The foundation also promotes research on animal welfare and wildlife rehabilitation in collaboration with universities and institutes, and runs educational visits, workshops and talks.
