Fundación Plan21 is an Argentine NGO working for sustainable human development in Latin America and the Caribbean. Its work covers sustainable tourism that benefits local communities, preserves cultural heritage and protects the environment; regenerative agriculture and food sovereignty for small-scale producers through the YvY application; and carbon and water footprint measurement and certification for companies and organisations through Carbonocero. It also runs the Transformando el Futuro initiative and works as an international consultant through thematic programmes and a network of professionals. The foundation describes itself as having more than 20 years of work in the region and is headquartered at Ecofinca El Refugio, Centro Agrícola El Pato, in the Province of Buenos Aires.
