The Förderkreis der ukrainischen Veteranen Süd e.V. (FUV Süd) is a non-profit association based in Heidelberg, Germany. It supports wounded soldiers from Ukraine and their families during medical treatment, rehabilitation and social integration in Germany. Support includes accompaniment to medical appointments, surgery and rehabilitation, interpreting and translation, help with applications and correspondence with authorities, legal advice in cooperation with specialists, and help with everyday life and professional orientation. The work is carried out largely by volunteers and funded through membership fees and donations. The association also raises public awareness of the situation of Ukrainian soldiers through events, demonstrations and campaigns.
