Gafcon Ireland is the Irish branch of the global GAFCON movement, a fellowship of Anglican Christians on the island of Ireland. It is a registered company limited by guarantee with charitable status. Its stated priorities are to proclaim the gospel, partner with like-minded organisations, plant new congregations and prepare people for Christian ministry. It runs TheologyIreland, a theological education initiative open to church members, leaders and lay preachers, and it issues public statements on doctrinal and ethical matters in the Church of Ireland and wider Anglican Communion. It also supports Anglican churches and ministries through prayer, financial partnership and church planting networks.
