Girls on Wheels is a non-profit association based in Fornebu, Bærum, Norway, that works to promote participation, confidence and inclusion in roller skating and skate culture, particularly for girls, children and young people. Founded in 2019 by a group of girls from Haslum, it runs weekly training sessions in Bekkestua, an open clubhouse in Fornebu with equipment loans and youth staff, summer schools, skate events and workshops. It also runs cultural projects in film, photography and music, and takes part in designing skate parks and ramps. The association states that all children and young people are welcome regardless of background, skill level or gender identity.
