God in Action Uganda is a non-governmental orphanage and community relief organisation based in Bugiri District, Uganda. It provides safe homes, meals, schooling and life skills for orphans and vulnerable children, and supports elderly community members. The organisation runs a five-acre farm in Bulidha village that grows crops such as peanuts, corn, cassava, potatoes and mangoes to generate food and income for its children. It also provides emergency aid, mainly for medical needs, to families in the community. Funding comes largely from individual donations, including monthly giving, and the organisation is building dormitories and more secure housing for the children.
