Gyökerek és Szárnyak Alapítvány (Roots and Wings Foundation) is a Hungarian philanthropic support organisation working since 2014 to strengthen solidarity, cooperation and local initiative across Hungary. It provides professional, human and financial support for the creation and development of community-led initiatives, including community foundations, local leaders in small towns, and women's giving and solidarity programmes. The foundation also supports donors in giving: it helps set up private funds, works with corporate donors on CSR programmes, runs a women's giving circle, live fundraising events and a legacy giving option. Its work is delivered through four ongoing support programmes that give multi-year grants and professional guidance, with the aim of building a fairer, more solidary Hungarian society. It is a member of the Hungarian self-regulatory fundraising body ASZÖT.
