Hanseatic Help

Founded in 2015, Hanseatic Help is a charity based in Hamburg, Germany working on poverty & hunger, humanitarian aid & disaster relief, employment & skills +4 more.

Hanseatic Help e.V. is a non-profit association founded in 2015 in Hamburg, Germany. It collects clothing and in-kind donations, including household goods, hygiene products and food for the Hamburger Tafel, and distributes them free of charge to more than 300 charitable organisations in Hamburg and Northern Germany, such as counselling services, women's shelters, homeless services, youth centres and schools. Donations also reach people on low incomes through its Hanseatic Help Stores and crisis regions abroad, including Ukraine, Greece and Eastern Europe. The organisation runs social projects, a reintegration programme for people who have been out of work for a long time (Team 16i), school workshops on textile issues, and an upcycling and materials pool. It works with the Hamburg Tafel, FairWertung and other NGOs and companies, and is co-founder of the Fachkreis Zirkuläre Textilien. Volunteering and donations are welcome.
