HESTIA78 is a French non-profit association created on 1 January 2022 through the merger of ALTIA MAULDRE & GALLY and CONFIANCE PIERRE BOULENGER. It supports people with intellectual disabilities and/or psychological disorders, and their families, in the Yvelines department south-west of Paris. The association manages around 16 establishments and services offering more than 800 places, including IME special education institutes, sheltered work establishments (ESAT), residential homes (foyers d'hébergement and foyers de vie), a medicalised residential home (FAM), a day care centre, a social support service and a home-based special education and care service. Its stated aims are the full development of the people it supports across education, training, employment, housing, leisure and social inclusion, and defending their moral, material and financial interests with public authorities. Through Hestia Formation, it also provides continuing training for its own staff and for the medico-social sector. It runs the Clos d'Hestia holiday house in Normandy for respite and leisure, and works with national bodies such as UNAPEI and AXESS. It is funded partly by public money and partly by donations, and is tax-deductible for donors.
